The story behind it all...

Hey, I'm Ellie! 

At the age of 17 my muesli journey began in October 2017, at the end of Year 12. It was a pretty hectic time, frantically studying for my final exams and baking muesli in our rental kitchen in Camberwell.  


As a child I have always loved baking with Mum, it has been something we have always shared together. Back in 2009 my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she definitely wasn't the first in her family to be diagnosed, and has to this date not been the last. My Mum fully recovered and she is now one of Musellie's biggest helpers. 


Since my Mum's diagnosis we (as a family) have become more health conscious and have developed a greater understanding of what we are putting in to our body. We make everything from scratch.


Now studying a bachelors degree of Clinical Nutrition my passion for health and nutrition has only grown, and I have come to understand the strong correlation between diet and disease. I strongly believe food made with love is our medicine. 


At the beginning of Year 12 I formulated a muesli recipe (Musellie original) that I made every Sunday night for the week ahead. My friends often tasted it and would say "this tastes delicious", "you should start selling this". I thought nothing of it, until a friend said "seriously you should just start". So sure enough, with the power of social media I started an Instagram page and Musellie was born. 


Over the last (nearly) 5 years, I have burnt many trays of muesli, but have NOT wasted them, dad eats the burnt ones !! I am still a really small business but I do have ambitions for Musellie to expand in the coming years, and I can't wait to see what's in store. 


A big passion of mine is to help others, so all I want is to share my love for health and nutrition with you & I hope you can learn a few things along the way!!

Our Ingredients

Our Mission

to create nourishing food where flavour is not compromised

Organic & Pesticide Free

All ingredients are organic except for our almonds and walnuts that are pesticide free. 


Not all ingredients are sourced within Australia, but we try our best to source locally supporting our local farmers. Our coconut comes from the Philippines, our oats in Musellie Cinnamon Oat Crunch, Cranberry Almond & Maple and our Chocolate Peanut Butter are organic wheat free uncontaminated oats, they have been tested for gluten and have no detectable gluten present. 


Why is this important to Musellie?

From a young age Ellie has been raised on (where possible) an organic/pesticide free diet. Today there are so many pesticides & other chemicals sprayed on our fruits/veggies, we as consumers aren't taught the harm these have on our health.


Hence, Ellie has formulated recipes that contain only Organic & Pesticide free ingredients, free from any refined sugars, for you to enjoy & thrive on!
